We have finally recieved an update on the release date for our scroll saw patterns book, and it looks like it will be on bookstore (and woodworking stores) shelves this fall. This is the first of many books to come. The fine folks at Fox Chapel are currently editing the book, and its starting to look pretty good. The book will feature a wide variety of plans and patterns for the scroll saw, including bud vases, business card holders, wall art, jewelry boxes, picture frames and more. All of the patterns can be completed using only a scroll saw.

Fox Chapel has also decided to feature our founder, Thomas Haapapuro, in an upcoming special magazine release, for his unique scroll saw jewelry boxes. This special release will feature some of the previous patterns he developed for previous Scroll Saw magazine articles, a preview of some of the book patterns, and a new, never before released pattern designed specifically for this release. Look for this in Spring 2012.

Finally, we are working now on our second book, which will feature 30 new jewelry book designs. These boxes will certainly feature the scroll saw, but will also introduce some really unique carving designs that are easy to make, but fantastic looking. This book will be released as an E-Book available at Amazon.com, and will be ready Fall of 2012.
